As a research engineer at the Computational Science Initiative (CSI), Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), currently working on exascale visual analytics framework for anomalous runtime behavior exploration/detection and streaming-based causality analysis through deep learning in High Performance Computing (HPC) applications as part of Co-design Center for Data Analysis and Reduction at Exascale in Exascale Computing Project (ECP-CODAR), which is supported by the United States Department of Energy (DOE). As lead programmer, proposed, designed, and built a new concept of the rich internet application framework for big data analysis, such as DataCollection, DataMap, DataList, LinkedDataList, and GridView components supporting data-processing, sorting, grouping and filtering for large scale 2-dimensional data. This solution was adopted and is being used by Samsung, LG, Hyundai, etc. (12.2012-05.2014) Moreover, I prototyped a high performance Pivot Table application including enhanced pivoting, grouping, filtering, and aggregating large-scale data. Adopted by the National Statistics Institute of South Korea. Developed with JavaScript, etc. (10.2015-07.2016)

Olleh Korea Telecom Anti Web DDoS

As a full-stack software engineer, developed a web-console system for detecting/preventing DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks on the KT-IDC: Korea Telecom Internet Data Center. I was mainly responsible for the visual analytics for monitoring and handling real time DDoS attacks. Tools for managing normal and abnormal access as well as visualizing network traffic were developed and are running on the front-most gate to the KT-IDCs. Built with Java, J2EE, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, etc. (05.2011-12.2012)
