Served as an IT Industrial Agent (Software Development Engineer) for two years ten months (May 2011 - Mar 2014) via Special Exemption from Mandatory Military Service of South Korea

All South Korean men must join the Korean Army for one year and eight months to fulfill their military obligation. However, only a few talented people are granted the opportunity to fulfill their military duty not as a soldier in the Korean Army, but instead as a highly-skilled worker in industries.

I became one of these rare exceptions in May 2011. I was authorized by the Military Manpower Administration of South Korea to work in the IT industry for two years and ten months as a IT Industrial Agent. This was possible because I acquired a national license, Industrial Engineer Information Processing, in May 2010 and passed multiple interviews that assessed my programming skills.
